Joan Marie Tyler Bentley, 85, formerly of Radford, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020, at her home in Mocksville, N.C. She was a former nurse’s assistant at Radford Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise Tyler; her husband, Glendon Earl Bentley, Sr.; a son, Timothy Bentley; a granddaughter, Regina Hamlin; a great grandson, Kiefer Bentley; and a sister, Theresa Vreeland.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Glendon, Jr. and Linda Christine Bentley of Rowlett, Texas, Jeff and Becky Bentley of Mocksville, N. C., and Bruce and Susan Bentley of Salem, Va.; daughter Colleen Bentley and friend Cecil of Christiansburg; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Leydet of Lennox, Mass; a brother-in-law, Carlton Vreeland of Lee, Mass.; and many other relatives and friends.

Due to the current restrictions, graveside services will be private at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, Va.
