Notice is hereby given, the
Radford City Council will
hold a public hearing on
September 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers located at 10
Robertson Street, Radford,
Virginia. Pursuant to Code
of Virginia, Title 15.2, Article 2 Section 15.2-2006 et seq.,the purpose of the public
hearing is to receive
comments regarding a
request from Tall Oaks 51,
LLC to vacate an
unimproved portion of publicright of way.
This area is identified as a
portion 10’ wide portion of
Walker Street located at its
intersection with the
northern side of
West Main Street. The
request contains a total
area of approximately 0.034 acre. Council will also hear
comments regarding a
request from East Radford
Development 1001, LLC to
vacate a portion of
unimproved public right of
way.
This area is located
between Tyler Avenue and
Picket Street. The request
contains a total area of
approximately 0.051
acre.
Copies of the application,
together with the plat of the
property to be vacated, are
available for review in the
City
Manager’s Office located at
10 Robertson Street.
