NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INVITING BIDS

ON AN ORDINANCE PROPOSING TO GRANT A NON-EXCLUSIVE LEASE

OF ATTACMENT LOCATIONS AND GROUND SPACE AT THE WATER TANK SITE LOCATED AT 110 RIDGEWOOD LANE IN THE CITY OF RADFORD

FOR CELLULAR TELECOMMUNICATIONS PURPOSES

 

 

Pursuant to Virginia Code § 15.2-1800, the Radford City Council will hold a public hearing on April 22, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers at 10 Robertson Street to receive public comment on an ordinance proposing to grant a non-exclusive lease of attachment locations and ground space at the water tank site located at 110 Ridgewood Lane in the City of Radford for cellular telecommunications purposes.  A copy of the full text of the ordinance, including the terms of the proposed lease agreement, may be obtained by contacting the Office of the City Clerk at (540) 731-3603.

 

In addition, pursuant to Virginia Code § 15.2-2100 et seq., bids are hereby invited for the lease proposed to be granted under the ordinance.  All bids must be in writing and submitted to the Office of the City Clerk at 10 Robertson Street, Radford, Virginia 24141 or at Jenni.Goodman@radfordva.gov.  ALL BIDS MUST BE RECEIVED BY April 22, 2024 AT 12:00 P.M.  Bids will be opened and read aloud during public session at Council’s regular meeting on April 22, 2024 at 7 PM.  After the reading of the bids, Council will proceed with consideration of the proposed ordinance and lease.  Council reserves the right reject any and all bids and to defer action until a subsequent meeting.
