Edna Jean Nolen, 80, of Blacksburg died, Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at English Meadows Senior Living. She was born in Eidson, TN on March 5, 1937 to the late John Carson and Nola Bell Cobb Lane; and was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Pete” Nolen.
She is survived by her sons, Terry McKinley Johnson, Scottie Avery Johnson, and Stephen Mark Johnson; sister, Margie Drinnon; grandchildren, Dillon Johnson, Stephen Jacob Johnson, Summer Lorraine Johnson, and Joshua Johnson; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Nov. 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Wallace Yopp officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery.
