Housing and Residence Life (HRL) at Virginia Tech will have move-in for the fall semester from August 14 through August 23. Students will sign up for a two-hour time slot between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. and will be limited to only two additional guests to assist them during that time.
Students will receive information regarding selecting their move-in time slot by July 10.
This move-in plan will limit the number of students moving in at any one time to mitigate contact with other students and guests. The university will share the full plan for COVID-19 testing later this week. Students can check the Housing and Residence Life website for more information about move-in as it becomes available.
