New Mount Olive UMC to host fish fry

New Mount Olive United Methodist Men (from left) William Wolford, Melvin Bond, Anthony “Wooster” Pack, Joe Webb, and Gilbert Meadows, along with Odell Palmer, William Billy Wade, Jr., and Schubby Claytor (not pictured) are gearing up for another fish fry this Saturday at New Mount Olive United Methodist Church. The church is located at 309 Russell Ave. in Radford. The men will be frying fish from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Menu prices are $10 for dinners that include two pieces of deep fried fish, baked beans, cole slaw, rolls, and dessert; Fish sandwiches $6.00; and an extra piece of fish $3.00. Call-in orders are available by calling the church at 540-639-6425. Delivery is available in the Radford area only, or folks hungry for some fish caqn come by and pick up their orders.
