Neece, Alma Magdalene Cox

Alma Magdalene Cox Neece, 93, of Radford, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walker Cox and Lacona Sutphin DeHart; son, Phillip Rickey Neece; siblings, Gladys Phillips, Troy Cox, Lura Ritter, Mable Akers, Celestie Adams, Truelove Weddle, Sylvia Minnick, Grace Pennington, and June Franklin; sons-in-law, Wesley Neal and Quincy Walker; and her grandson-in-law, Mel Braheny.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Diane Neal and Joyce Marie Walker; grandchildren and their spouses, Lorne Springs (Pat), Anna Braheny, Randy Springs, Aaron Walker, Eddie Walker (Melinda), Debra Neal, Kay Meadows (Billy), and Kevin Neal (Valerie); great-grandchildren, Trincy, Rebecca, Ivory, Tiara, Alexa, and Paige; great-great grandchildren, Lucy, Wyatt, Teegan, Easton, Karson, Zander and Vivian; brother-in-law and his wife, Harry Neece (Irene); and many other relatives and friends. 

The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice, and all the family and friends that touched Alma’s life. 

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Services will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Poston officiating. Burial will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford.

The Neece family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home and Crematory in Radford.
