The Montgomery County-Radford City-Floyd County NAACP branch’s annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Celebration will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 500 Stuart St. in Christiansburg.


The speaker will be Joe Scheffey, who retired from the Pulaski County Board of Supervisors after 7 terms. All are welcome.

The January General Body meeting of the Montgomery County-Radford City-Floyd County NAACP will take place Sunday, Jan. 28, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 500 Stuart St in Christiansburg. The business portion of the meeting will be 3:30-4:30 p.m., and then the CREDO speaker will be the new President of the Virginia State NAACP, Rev. Kevin Chandler. The speaker will begin at 4:30 p.m., and there will be a meet-and-greet afterward. All are welcome.
