David (Dave) F. Morris passed away Nov. 20, 2025, at the age of 94, at his home in Radford. Born and raised in Radford, he was the son of the late John Tebie Morris and Edna Barton Morris.

Dave proudly served in the United States Army and National Guard. He later worked as an electrician for the City of Radford for over 31 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Freda Morris, and wife Janie Morris; brothers, Tom Morris, Bill Morris, Bob Morris and Buster Morris; and sisters, Margaret Morris and Patsy Morris.

He is survived by his children, Barbara Swindell (Bob), David F. (Dink) Morris (Kelly), Patsy A. Morris and Sherry Fowler (Marvin).

He was lovingly known as “Papaw” to his grandchildren, Rob Swindell (Amanda), Lori Luhrman (Chris), Joe Swindell (Meg), Amanda N. Griffith, Michelle Morris, Tyler Griffith (Dylan), Michael Morris, Ryann Fowler (Nicole), Mary Conner Aker (Dylan) and Hart Fowler, as well as to his 12 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brother Douglas Morris and many nieces and nephews.

The family received friends Tuesday, Nov. 25 at Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, directly followed by a funeral service. Interment took place at West View Cemetery in Radford.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Radford High School Athletic Department in care of Greg Wade.

The Morris Family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
