Doug Wood will interpret the life of Ostenaco, a Cherokee military leader during the French and Indian War during the Mary Draper Ingles Festival, set for July 26- 28. All total, the festival’s three days will feature more than 75 activities, including old-time crafts and skills, art exhibits, vendors, a petting zoo, live music, historical dancers, food trucks, a children’s play zone, a short reenactment of the Ingles play, “Long Walk to Freedom,” and more.
