Melvin C. Martin, 75, of Blacksburg, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 at Skyline Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Floyd.
He was born in Giles County, VA on June 26, 1943 to the late Oliff Watson and Nellie Jones Martin. He is survived by his son, Kevin Martin; and his sister, Donna Carden.
Funeral services were held Aug. 13, 2018 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Brandon Crosier officiated. Burial followed in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family received friends before the service time at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
