RADFORD –The Radford City Police Department was dispatched to Bisset Park for a water rescue call Thursday, Sept. 25, 2024 just before 2 p.m.
Witnesses say a man jumped from Memorial Bridge.
“The subject was located in the New River near the gazebo and was rescued,” according to the City of Radford. “The individual was transported to New River Valley Medical Center for treatment. This is an ongoing investigation and no further information will be released at this time.”
