RADFORD – The annual Radford Community Fest street festival is set for this August, and organizers are holding a logo contest for this year’s event.

Community members can submit a logo for the contest until Monday, Jan. 19. The winning graphic will be featured on the annual t-shirt, giveaways at the event, and advertising.

Designs must be original artwork. AI submissions will not be accepted and the image must be five or fewer colors. Artists may find pictures and video inspiration at www.radfordcommunityfest.com or on Instagram at @radfordcommunityfest. Designs should be submitted at www.radfordcommunityfest.com.

Radford Community Fest is a free community celebration held 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026 on East Main Street in Radford. Community members, students and their families, university staff and faculty, and guests from the region are invited.

East Main Street will be closed and more than 100 local vendors, five food trucks, a main stage with live music all day, street performers, community engagement, and the downtown Radford merchants will be part of the festival. Local and regional crafters, artisans, community organizations, and businesses are invited to purchase a booth. Spaces are 10’X10′. Singles and doubles are available. Limited spaces allow power for an extra charge. 2026 registration will open later this month.
