Scot S. Farthing, Attorney at Law, PC, with offices in Christiansburg and Wytheville, Virginia is expanding and opening an office in Abingdon.

Joining the attorneys is Abingdon attorney, Robert T. “Bob” Copeland.  Copeland brings a wealth of experience, having practiced in Abingdon for over 40 years.

“He compliments our firm with our ever expanding abilities to service our clients in Southwest Virginia and the New River Valley,” says Farthing.  “We look forward to offering services to his existing clients and new clients in business and consumer bankruptcy, business law, real estate and estate planning.”

Copeland received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1975 from The College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law in Williamsburg, Virginia and his B.A. from the University of Virginia.  He is an active member of both state and local bar associations.

In the law practice, in the legal profession and in the Southwest Virginia and New River Valley, Scot S. Farthing, Attorney at Law, PC, is your advocate in bankruptcy (individuals, businesses and farmers), real estate, business formation and estate planning services (wills, powers of attorney and medical directives).

The new office in Abingdon is located at 212 West Valley Street.  We are looking forward to being a part of and serving Abingdon and more Southwest Virginia communities.
