Lively, Betty Tickle

Betty Tickle Lively, 76, of Radford, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020.

Born on Oct. 13, 1943, she was a member of Belview United Methodist Church and retired from AT&T where she worked in quality control. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Nellie Hazel Tickle; a brother, Clayton Foster Tickle; and her first husband, James Oliver “Pete” Lively.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Anthony Evans; a son, James David Lively of Wytheville; a daughter and son-in-law, Beth Lively Via and Cort of Stallings, N.C.; sisters and brothers-in-law Mary Sisson, Patsy and Roger Stewart, and Ella Lou and Bill Duncan; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

The family received friends on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Graveside services followed in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin with the Rev. Laura Beth Gillespie and the Rev. Aaron Fitch officiating.

Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

The Lively family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
