6Bridget Anne Lester, 48, of Radford, was laid to rest Dec. 28, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born April 17, 1977, Bridget was a devoted mother and wife, a larger than life personality and a loving Nana.

Bridget loved nothing more than blasting her favorite songs on the back of her husband’s Harley. She loved cooking for her family, traveling, and weekends with her granddaughters.

Bridget was a people person and had a passion for bartending, especially with her Ruby Tuesday crew.

Bridget was always beautiful on the outside, but it was no comparison to how beautiful she was on the inside.

Bridget was preceded in death by her grandparents Noma and Fony Walker.

Bridget will live on through her husband of 22 years, Matthew Lester Sr.; her son, Matthew Lester Jr.; her five daughters, Charmaine Belcher (Cody Belcher), Sara Matthews (Colby Matthews), Emily Lester, Kiara Walker and Lacey King; her granddaughters, Georgia Matthews, Charleigh Belcher and Olivia Matthews; her mother, Beverly Walker;

her brother, Carnell Walker; aunt, Freda Walker; her brother and sister-in-law, Gabriel and Amanda Lester; her nephews, Addison Lester, Tanner Lester and Griffin Lester; her niece, Reagan Lester; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of a favorite meal or desserts to support the family during this difficult time.

Per her request, a private service will be held.

The Lester family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
