Charles Edward Leonard, 86, of Fairlawn, passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2026. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a former pastor and missionary.
Born Sept. 23, 1939, he was preceded in death by his parents, Chester D. and Clella Mae Byrant Leonard; his first wife, Shirley Ann Pope Leonard; his second wife, Marilyn Pearl Bird Leonard; and his third wife, Virginia Wade Watson Leonard.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimberlee Star Ferner and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Aaron, Kristen and Sarah; 10 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
The family received friends Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at Grace Baptist Church, 552 East Main Street, Dublin, VA, 24084. Funeral services followed with Pastor Doug Testerman and Pastor Burl Greer officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Grace Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1052, Dublin, VA 24084.
