The New River Valley Home Builders Association’s (NRVHBA) annual Home Expo will be held at the Christiansburg Recreation Center Mar. 22-23.
CHRISTIANSBURG — The New River Valley Home Builders Association’s (NRVHBA) annual Home Expo returns March 22-23 to the Christiansburg Recreation Center, 1600 N. Franklin St.
Looking for inspiration to kick off your home projects? The NRVHBA has put all your home care needs into one convenient location. This is the place to be if you are looking to build a new home, remodel your current home, find your mortgage lender or real estate agent, or meet service providers to help you with your current project list.
“This year’s expo promises to be one of our biggest yet, with over 75 businesses and organizations represented,” said Ian Friend, President of the NRVHBA. “We hope the NRV will come out in force to take advantage of all the contractors and vendors who will be set up at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. With warmer weather coming, this is a perfect time to get project ideas, schedule estimates, and kick off your spring season.”
The Expo will have a floor full of local, trusted professionals who are available to answer your home care questions, provide you with reliable resources and quick quotes, as well as show you samples of their skills and services. In addition to meeting exhibitors, attendees can also vote for their favorite LEGO home in the LEGO Home Building Contest and bid on items in the Silent Auction, featuring items such as home fixtures, tools, service gift certificates, sports experiences and more. Online bidding is available.
The 2025 NRV Home Expo introduces the Parade of Playhouses, featuring custom-built playhouses by local NRVHBA builders. These playhouses will be auctioned to support the NRVHBA Microgrant Program, which funds classroom projects at local schools promoting construction trade skills and careers. Visitors can view the playhouses at the expo on March 22-23, with online bidding starting March 19th.
The event hours are Saturday, Mar. 22, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Sunday, Mar. 23, 12-5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults on the day of the event.
