Randall Howard Kessinger, 51, of the Spruce Run Community, Newport, Virginia died Wednesday, April 3, 2019. He was born in Radford, Virginia on Sept.11, 1967 to the late Cecil Howard and Lula Wilson Kessinger. Randy graduated from the Hobart Institute of Welding in Troy, Ohio. He loved his cattle farm, fishing, canoeing, hiking, the great outdoors, a good book, preparing a delicious meal, and gathering with family and friends.
Randy is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Pamela Kessinger and her husband Michael Donnini, and Patty Echols and her husband Dennis. He is also survived by his nieces Natalia, Valentina and Anastasia; his beloved dog, Dixie; numerous extended family members; and many very good friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Thursday evening prior to the service.
