Patsy (Patty) Hay Jamison, 89, of Ocala, Florida fell asleep in death peacefully on May 19, 2017.

She awaits the time when Jesus promised in John Chapter 5 that all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out to live once again on a cleansed earth where Jesus promised that death would be no more.

Patty was born on Backbone Ridge in Dickenson County Virginia. She was the only child of Cecil and Maude Hay. She was the first member of her family to go to college which she was very proud of.

She received her Bachelor’s degree from Radford College and went on to get her Master’s degree in education form the University of Virginia. She taught in Radford, Virginia and many years in the Marion County Florida school system.

Patty was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses being baptised on Oct. 6, 1961 with over 55 years of faithful service. Patty loved Jehovah, her God, and showed it by being active in the ministry telling others about the hope for mankind through His KIngdom Government.

Besides her parents, Cecil and Maude Hay, she is preceded in death by her husband Leland Jamison and her daughter Elizabeth Jamison.

She is survived by her son Chip Jamison, his wife Kathleen residing in Hawthorne Florida and her grand daughter Jennifer Clark Henderson and great grandson’s Max and Jacob Henderson all living in Richardson Texas.

Patty’s life will be celebrated Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 1404 State Road 20 West, Interlachen, Florida.

Memories and condolences may be shared with her family online at www.icsfuneralservices.com.
