Marie Boyd Anderson Jackson, 96, passed away at her home in Radford Friday, Jan. 16, 2026. Born June 12, 1929, she retired from Radford Community Hospital after 28 years as the Food Service Director. She was a member of Unity Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel M. and Laura Hollandsworth Boyd; her husbands, Roy S. Anderson, Sr. and Joseph H. Jackson; and many brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Roy Samuel “Sammy” Anderson, Jr. and Gary Randolph “Randy” Anderson (Kimberly); grandchildren, Jessica M. Jonas and Luke Anderson; great granddaughter, Sophia Ann Hearst; and many other relatives and friends.
The family received friends Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services followed with Rev. Wendy Wilson officiating. Interment followed in West View Cemetery in Radford.
