Indictments returned against 24 individuals

A Botetourt grand jury returned indictments against 24 individuals when it met December 4 in Fincastle. Of those, certified indictments were returned against 12 individuals and direct indictments were returned against 12 others.

The indictments included:

CERTIFIED

  • David Wesley Bostic of New Castle, indecent liberties
  • Garon Ray Bowles of Roanoke, strangulation, arson
  • James Quallas Carr III of Buchanan, breaking and entering, grand larceny
  • Curtis Lynn Huffman of Roanoke, possession of Schedule I or II drugs, possession with intent to distribute
  • David Leon Johnson of Roanoke, possession with intent to distribute marijuana
  • Roberto Lopez-Torrez of Frostproof, Fla., possession of Schedule I or II drugs
  • Celena Joyce Meador of Hardy, possession of Schedule I or II drugs
  • Joseph Bradley Mullins of Buchanan, driving after being declare a habitual offender, subsequent
  • Nathan Keith Mullins of Fincastle, grand larceny
  • Thomas Roger Parker of Pilot, malicious wounding
  • Ballard Lee Robbins of Roanoke, possession of Schedule I or II drugs
  • William Jason Roberts of South Hill, grand larceny

  • Robert Edwin Keith Bryant of Lynchburg, grand larceny
  • James Buckley of Buchanan, object penetration
  • Adrian Eric Cox of Roanoke, two counts of forgery, two counts of uttering, two counts of false pretenses
  • Christopher Waylon Davis of Eagle Rock, abduction, strangulation, malicious wounding
  • Jetara Maria Gladden of Roanoke, petit larceny, two counts of grand larceny, two counts of grand larceny with intent
  • Gregory William Hoover of Covington, driving under the influence, subsequent, possession of firearm by a felon, transporting ammunition by a felon
  • Stephen Lynn Miller, address unavailable, credit card theft, petit larceny
  • Samuel Ejiroghene Osakuni of Houston, Texas, false pretenses, attempted false pretenses
  • William Jason Roberts of South Hill, two counts of breaking and entering
  • Morgan Elizabeth Rose of Moneta, breaking and entering, grand larceny
  • Steven James Slocum of Buchanan, driving under the influence
