Opal Shelor Hylton, 102, of Fairlawn, passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024.

She also created flower arrangements and decorated Saint Albans for holidays and special events. She loved her years working at Saint Albans teaching craft classes using her God given talents.

She is survived by two daughters, Patrica Boone of Roanoke, and Robin Crews of Ashburn, Va.: grandsons, Todd Boone and Cale Boone; and four great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the friends and family as well as the dedicated health care professionals with ACG Hospice, who supported Opal and her family through her final journey.

Visitation was held Friday, Nov.1, 2024 at the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church. Funeral Services were held following the visitation with Rev. Allison Unroe officiating. Interment followed at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, 6900 Pulaski Avenue, Fairlawn, VA  24141.

The family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
