Live music, beer and wine garden, and, of course, pets are welcome as The Radford City Humane Society presents the 7th annual benefit concert, River City Music Fest from noon to 6 p.m. this Saturday at Bisset Park.

Well-known musicians Eric Gress, Mud Daubers & the Queen Bee, Time Wave Zero, Stemwinders, and Johnny Cake and the Lunch Truck will set the tone. Speaking of lunch trucks, Hanu Korean BBQ, Mountain Grille and the Bahama Sno Shack will be there for dining with music along the river.

The entrance to the park and the concert is free. There will be K9 demonstrations, a photographer and kid activities.

Craft vendors for remembrances of this, the first fest on the river. Visit the Humane Society’s booth for tumbling, cuddly mounds of information about pet adoption and to contribute to the society’s building fund

“This is a family-friendly event and all well-behaved pets on leashes or in strollers are welcome,” said the Humane Society.
