The animals of the week are from the Humane Society of Montgomery County. Each Wednesday the Radford News Journal features two animals available for adoption. Those interested in adopting a pet, or helping the facility can call 382-1166 or visit www.hsmcshelter.com.
Ted (right) is a brown, pit bull/shepherd mix. He has been neutered and is almost two years old. His friend, Fletcher, is a heeler mix, neutered male and approximitely one-year-old. Both boys are great with other energetic dogs their size! Fletcher is good with cats. Ted has not met any cats, so we are not sure how he feels about them. Both Ted and Fletcher need an experienced owner. They would also both benefit from having a dog friend to use up some energy and learn some manners. Ted and Fletcher are new friends but they do not have to be adopted together.
