CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Virginia Tech racked up many first-place wins during their meet against Queens and Tennessee Saturday, Jan. 7. The tech men beat Queens 146-108, and the women won 151-103. Tennessee counted as an exhibition, so they do not have a final score.
HEAD COACH SERGIO LOPEZ MIRO
“Today we had a pretty good meet. It was our first meet in almost two months, so it’s difficult to know what to expect with only about five days of training. I think we raced very well. Both the men and women did a great job. I’m so proud of the team. Now we just need to keep training and keep up the hard work for our meet against UVa next week.”
