The Virginia Tech baseball team is preparing for its home opener on March 14.
With the much publicized major upgrading and enhancement project currently taking place at English Field at Union Park, there is some very important information that the Virginia Tech Athletics Department would like to get out to all fans that will be attending Hokies baseball games in 2017.
The marketing department has also finalized its promotional schedule for the home baseball season. Below are the dates and promotions:
For ACC Friday/Saturday/Sunday series:
Friday – A variety of theme nights
Saturday – Signature Saturday (select player trading cards will be given away to early arriving fans, and then those players will be available to sign autographs after the game)
Sunday – Family Sunday (bring the family for Baseball Bingo, Junior PA Announcers, and more!)
Specific promotions include:
- 3/14 vs. Canisius – $1 Menu Day at concessions
- 3/17 vs. Florida State – St. Patrick’s Day game
- 3/18 vs. Florida State – Signature Saturday
