The Montgomery County Courthouse was built in 1909. This photograph was taken after the 1930s removal of the portico, but before the dome and clocks were removed in the 1940s. Part of the clockworks from this courthouse are currently on exhibit in the “Montgomery County in 45 Objects” exhibit at the Montgomery Museum..
