The women were picked just behind second-place Charleston Southern with 63 points earning two votes for second, five votes for third and two votes for fourth. Behind Radford was UNC Asheville with 56 points and Longwood in fifth with 41 points.
The men’s cross country team, also led by head coach Bradley, was predicted to place fourth, their fourth straight season being picked to finish within the top-half of the conference.
The men were picked just behind third-place High Point earning 54 points with a majority over their votes coming at fourth. Behind them in fifth was USC Upstate with 41 points and Longwood in sixth with 34 points.
