The Big South Conference announced today a multi-year renewal with Hercules Tires as the title sponsor of the Big South Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships.

The 2024 Hercules Tires Big South Basketball Championships will be March 6-10 at the Qubein Center on the campus of High Point University in High Point, N.C.
“Our official partnership as title sponsor of the men’s and women’s championships not only gives Hercules Tires a platform to expose the brand to new audiences during the exciting culmination of the season where the best of the best athletes will get a chance to compete for the championship title, but is also an outstanding opportunity to engage with passionate fans, student-athletes, staff and alumni throughout the season on a grassroots level,” said Joshua Simpson, Senior Vice President of Hercules Tires.
Hercules Tires has been the title sponsor of the Big South Basketball Championships since 2020. The 2024 event will begin on Wednesday, March 6 with two first round games. The women’s quarterfinals will be held on Thursday, March 7, with the men’s quarterfinals slated for Friday, March 8. Both semifinals will be conducted on Saturday, March 9, with the Championship games on Sunday, March 10.

All 16 tournament games will be televised on the ESPN family of networks, with the two championship contests airing on a linear network. Game times and ticket information for the 2024 Hercules Tires Big South Basketball Championships will be announced when finalized.

“On behalf of the Big South Conference, I am immensely elated and grateful for the continued partnership with Hercules Tires,” added Big South Commissioner Sherika A. Montgomery. “The proven alignment of values and commitment to elevated and holistic student-athlete experiences make this partnership invaluable. We look forward to tremendous opportunities of impact ahead as we welcome Hercules Tires back as the title sponsor of two marquee Conference championship events.”
The broad-based, multifaceted extension agreement was negotiated by the Big South’s multimedia rights partner, Van Wagner.
