Hedge, Dolly Jean Smart

Dolly Jean Smart Hedge, 85, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at her home in Radford. 

She retired from AT&T. Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Henry and Ethel Mae Smart; husband, Jerry L. Hedge; brothers, Elwood, Joseph, Jr., and Robert Smart; and sisters, Dorleen Roop, Lucille Wilson, Melida Boyd, Dorothy McCoy, Frances Strader, and June Dobbins.

Survivors include her son, Gregory T. Hedge (Kim); daughter, Debbie Lilly (Rodger); grandchildren, Joshua Saul, Corey Hedge, and Heather H. Schrantz (Evan); great grandchildren, Hannah and Natalie Saul, and another great grandson on the way; sister, Shirley Crabtree (PeeWee); and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, in the West View Cemetery in Radford.

The Hedge family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
