Mary Jane Midkiff Harmon, 91, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at her home in Radford. Born on May 19, 1927, she was a member of Unity Christian Church and retired senior supervisor at the Radford Recreation Center for over 30 years.


She was preceded in death by her parents, John Hammett Midkiff, Sr. and Ada Elizabeth Parrish Midkiff; husband, Daniel Webster Harmon, Jr.; and 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel W. Harmon III and Susan of Montgomery, Ala., and John Gary Harmon and Robert Michael Harmon, both of Radford; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on June 14, 2018 at Unity Christian Church in Radford with Rev. Wendy Wilson and Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Interment followed in West View Cemetery in Radford.

The family received friends June 13 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Unity Christian Church, 400 Tyler Avenue, Radford, VA 24141.

The Harmon family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
