Stuart Earl Gunsaulis, 59, of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Earl Gunsaulis, his mother, Gladys Lucile Armstrong Gunsaulis, and his stepmother, Louise Toler.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Donna Gunsaulis; doting children Amanda (Shane) Brennan and MacKenzie Gunsaulis, his favorite little buddy and grandson Braeden Kelly, and close friend Michael Kelly. He is also survived by his sister Judy Gunsaulis, brother Richey Gunsaulis, and sister-in-law Tina Gunsaulis.

Stuart loved his country and served as a sergeant in the Army for six years, including three years overseas in Germany. He valued hard work and was employed by the Radford Army Ammunition Plant for 15 years where he made good friends.

Stuart was a man of passion who loved history, reading Stephen King books, collecting coins, and riding and building trains, but most of all, he loved his family.

Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady of Hillsville is serving the family. The service will be scheduled at a later date.
