Gary Willard Graves, 58, of Blacksburg, Virginia, passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2017.
Gary enjoyed camping and fishing. He had a green thumb and a knack for tinkering with and fixing things. He especially loved children and animals and had a special ability to make people smile.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Clinton Graves and Ina Mae Cromer Graves, both of Blacksburg. He is survived by his sister, Lisa Graves, brother, Brian Graves and wife Kimberly, nieces Carley and Leah Graves and Kendall Hurd, all from Blacksburg, and many aunts, cousins and special friends.
Visitation was held Friday, with service following. Pastors Tommy McDearis and Todd Millsaps offciated and cousin, Rhonda Roberts of Vienna, Virginia, delivered the eulogy.
Interment followed at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New River Community Services, Humane Society of Montgomery County, American Diabetes Association or the organization of your choice.
