Glencoe Mansion presents three weekends of holiday shopping

RADFORD – Glencoe Mansion, Museum & Gallery is presenting three weekends of shopping in conjunction with The Radford Farmers’ Market and MountainTrotter Arts.

Today, Saturday, Nov. 26, will be Small Business Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featured will be gift ideas from local artisans and authors and Radford souvenirs. Additionally, Yvonne Alderman’s exhibit, “Visions in Mixed Media and Wood,” will open with a reception from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Glencoe gift shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow time to get a head start on Christmas shopping.

Saturday, Dec. 3 will be the Holiday Farmers Market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the field adjacent to Glencoe Mansion. The market will feature gift items from farmers, crafters, and artisans. Pictures with Santa will be available. A food truck from Bluegrass BBQ will be set up.

Concluding the three weekends of shopping on Saturday, Dec. 10, will be the Handcrafted Holiday Pop-Up Market from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The pop-up market will be hosted by MountainTroter Arts and will feature local artisans and crafters. The food truck Empanada Nirvana will be onsite.

Visitors can enjoy the mansion’s Holiday Open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The rain date for the Pop-Up Market will be Sunday, Dec. 11.

All three weekends of activities are open to the public, are family friendly, and are free.
