A Montgomery County school bus was involved in a minor wreck Wednesday afternoon at the corner of Depot Street and Radford Street in Christiansburg, Melissa Demmitt, public relations director for the Town of Christiansburg said in an announcement.
Christiansburg Police responded at approximately 3:13 p.m. according to Demmitt. One driver and 17 middle school students were on board at the time. No one was injured.
The driver of the other vehicle involved – William Van Campen, 19, of Hillsville – was charged with following too closely. He was operating a 2006 Ford van.
