Less than five percent of members of Congress come from the working class. This November, those of us in the 9th district have an opportunity to increase that percentage by sending Anthony Flaccavento, farmer and small business owner, to Washington.
We have the opportunity to elect a representative who has been working tirelessly in our community, laboring alongside us, helping countless individuals and small businesses to grow and thrive.
Anthony Flaccavento believes in government that helps people help themselves. He understands how to keep and increase jobs while using our environmental resources efficiently and with care instead of exploiting them.
He understands how to work with government agencies to make sure those agencies are there for us and not working against us.
And most important for those of us in Southwest Virginia, he understands how to continue growth and development in the 21st century without harming of our rural ways of life.
We need a representative who will truly represent rural America. Anthony Flaccavento will be a voice for us, and he has my vote on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
