Farmer for Flaccavento

I am writing in support of Anthony Flaccavento’s candidacy to the US House of Representatives in Virginia’s 9th congressional district.

Like a lot of folks, I follow the news of the day and workings of our governmental and political processes from the comfort of my own home.  To say the least, the news is discouraging.

The range of problems we face is vast and complex, and the debate about how to solve these problems has become overly partisan, unduly contentious, and often destructive.

So, like a lot of folks, I recoil from the fray, retreat to my ideologies, grouse about the rest, and hope for the best.

Flaccavento has caught my attention, though. He is a person whose even temperament, work ethic, compassion and vision is an antidote to many of the ills we see today in our governmental chambers.

As a self-employed farmer and businessman living and working in southwest Virginia for the past 30 years, Flaccavento has shown, through his life’s work in agriculture and economic development, a commitment to improving the lives of people and the communities in which they live.

His unwavering desire to help people help themselves while using government leverage to facilitate positive change and prosperity among the general populace is refreshingly hopeful.

I can honestly say that I enthusiastically support Anthony Flaccavento. Give him a closer look. I’ll be voting for him November 6 and I hope you will too.
