Ellen Susanne Zander, 86, of Pulaski, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 1, 1939, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a former teacher. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Evelyn Ebersole; and her son, Curtis Cunningham.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Zander; daughter, Paula Fisher (Richard); daughter-in-law, Susan Cunningham; grandchildren, Nicole Watson (Ryan), Richard Fisher (Melinda), Michael Fisher, Ben Fisher (Carena), Jessia Fisher, and Alexandra Cunningham; stepsons, Jason Zander (Francis), and Eric Zander (Angela); eight great grandchildren; five siblings; and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Ellen’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 900 Pendleton Street, Radford.
The family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
