Election Day coming Nov. 7

RADFORD – Radford voters will have just two elections on which to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 7, and one of those is an unopposed race.

For the 5th District of the Senate of Virginia, incumbent Sen. Travis Hackworth, a republican, faces democratic challenger Robert Beckman. For the 42nd district of the Virginia House of Delegates, incumbent Del. Jason Ballard, a republican, is running unopposed.

In-person early voting at the Radford City Office of Elections, 619 2nd St. Room 143, Radford, is available through Saturday, Nov. 4. The office is open Nov. 1- 3 from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. The polls will be open on Election Day from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. and voters will vote at their normal polling location.
