Linda McPherson Early, 81, of Christiansburg, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at Lewis Gale Medical Center.
She was born in Montgomery County on July 23, 1942, to the late John Hampton and Perlee Mae Sarver McPherson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Junior Early.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Alan Wilburn, Dianna and James McDaniel, and Roberta and Randy Harris; grandchildren, Robert (Tammy) Wilburn, Matthew (Tara) Reynolds, and Toby Early; great-grandchildren, Lane and Wade Reynolds; brother and sister-in-law, June and Doris McPherson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen Smith, Louise and Thomas Mayo, and Mary Flannery; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Graves officiating. Interment followed in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family received friends before the service.
