Mary Margaret Hendricks Dobbins, 71, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her home in Radford. Born on May 8, 1946, she was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Dobbins was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Rosa Lee Hendricks; husband, Eugene Dobbins, Jr.; and son, John Edward Dobbins.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Hendricks of Radford, and Gene and Linda Dobbins of Dublin; daughters, Serecia Dobbins and Lillie Morton, both of Radford; 11 grandchildren, Satairka, Kadon, Eli, Miracle, Embirly, Terrell, Desheda, Sheka, Tarion, E.J. and D.J.; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Jamel Hendricks of Radford, Freddie Hendricks of Ft. Chiswell, Paul Hendricks of New River, Doug Hendricks of Minnesota, and Jerry and Donna Hendricks of Christiansburg; sisters and brother-in-law, Lola Johnson of San Antonio, Texas, Joyce Buford and Lillie and David Morton, both of Radford; sister-in-law, Dora Dobbins; special sisters, Ester Reed and Brenda Waldron; and a host of special friends, nieces and nephews.
The family received friends March 13, 2018 at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Radford. Funeral services were held with Rev. Eric Ramey officiating. Interment followed in New River Cemetery.
The Dobbins family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
