Dickerson, Robert Jay

Robert Jay Dickerson, 77, of Fairlawn, passed away Friday, Dec. 15, 2017. He was a former truck driver and a farmer. Born on Sept. 14, 1940, he was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bertha Dickerson; his loving wife of 46 years, Sandra Turner Dickerson; 4 brothers; and a sister.


Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Spencer Lewis, and Lori and Ronnie Ryan; grandchildren and their spouses, Stephanie and D. J. Tibbs, Courtney and Jason Whitt, Tyler Finley, Sean Finley, Jordan Love, Keegan Fair, Naleigh Lewis and Jacob Ryan; 11 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, James Blane and Jean Dickerson; brother-in-law, David Turner, and many nephews, nieces and special friends.

The family received friends on Dec. 19, 2017 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services were held with Pastor John Tibbs officiating. Interment followed in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford.
