Delta Ree (Lilly, Eller, Harris) Cross, of Radford, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 5, 2023.

She was born in Beckley, W. Va. on October 1, 1942, to the late Riley and Rachel Cross.

She is preceded in death by her parents; an infant child, Lisa Renee; five brothers, Cleophus, Leoda, Odeless, Cornelius, and Riley “Cowboy”; sister, Elvira Furnari; and husbands, Thomas Lilly and James E. Harris.

She is survived by her three children, Dean Lilly, Carolyn L. Hill (Charlie Thompson), and Laurissa Eller Payne (Bobby Payne); five grandchildren, Bryan Hill, Crystal Lilly, Chey Eller, Preston Eller and Chaz Payne; sisters, Faye Cooper and Retha Cooper; nephews, nieces and many other relatives and friends.

She retired from Celanese in Narrows and Boeing in Princeton, W. Va. She attended the West End Church of God.

Delta loved flower gardening, having tea parties with her grandchildren, going “yard saling,” exhibiting her canary skills, Elvis, and God. She was a loving person and the best Mother anyone could ask for. She will be forever missed.

Per Delta’s request, services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Pulaski SPCA or to Pulaski Head Start.

“The Lord liveth, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.” 2 Samuel 22:47

The Cross family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
