The Community Foundation of the New River Valley is relocating from its office on Cambria Street in Christiansburg to the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center, 1750 Kraft Drive, Suite 2200 in Blacksburg.

Established in 1994, the foundation has as its mission to enrich the community by providing professional management services to donors for their charitable causes, awarding visionary grants and scholarships and nurturing collaborations in the local community.

The post office box (6009), the phone number (540-381-8999) and the email address (cfnrv@cfnrv.org) will remain the same.

The offices will be closed the week of Nov. 16 to give the staff time to make the move. This week the staff will be in and out of the office to prepare for the move. The week of Nov. 23 the staff will be in and out preparing for and enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff will be monitoring email but know that replies will take longer than usual.

Anyone wishing or needing to visit the office should call ahead during this time to ensure that a staff member is available.
