Clark, Clarice Ada Thayer

Clarice “Chris” Ada Thayer Clark, of Fairlawn, Va., passed away on Saturday, Mar. 23, 2019. Chris was born in Crawford County, Pa. on December 20, 1928, the daughter of the late Bourk and Flossie Duncan Thayer. She worked as a supervisor at Viscoe Industries in PA, later moving to Radford, Va. She then worked at AT&T and Family Health Clinic, retiring from both. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Clark; daughter, Sandra Jeanne Clark; sisters, Vivian and Jeanne; brothers, Keylon, Merrick and Richard; and half-brother, Eugene Bangert.

She is survived by her son, Donald B. Clark and wife Nancy of Fairlawn; grandchildren, Sandra King and husband Travis of Pulaski, and Michelle Clark (John) of Dublin; five great-grandchildren, Shaun, Wesley and Bethenny King, Shelby Ott-Hanewacker and Sara Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, Va. Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. with Rev. Mark Kilbourne of Grove United Methodist Church officiating. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Linesville, Pa.
