BLACKSBURG – Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience 40 countries in one day?

Find out at the 63rd International Street Fair, hosted by the Council of International Student Organizations and Cranwell International Center.

On Sunday, April 21, from noon to 6 p.m., you can take a trip around the globe without leaving Blacksburg. Booths will be set up along one side of Alumni Mall, each hosted by an international or cultural student organization at Virginia Tech.

There, you’ll have a chance to share in their culture, experiences, and traditional wear. Students also will offer presentations, crafts, games, and items for purchase.

The International Street Fair begins at noon with the Global Cultural Parade, an inclusive parade of celebrated cultures from around the world. It’s followed by cultural performances throughout the day on the main stage in front of Torgersen Bridge, where students will share song, dance, and instrumental performances until the fair ends at 6 p.m.

There will be several international food trucks, where attendees will be able to buy a wide variety of sweet, savory, and spicy treats from all over the world.
