RADFORD – Saturday’s installment of the Radford Summer Concert Series brought more than 600 people to the grounds of Glencoe Mansion to enjoy the 80’s sounds of Cassette Rewind.
The keytar took center stage as the band performed hit after hit from the 80’s, from Billy Idol to Prince, Madonna to Whitney Houston, Lover Boy to the Eurythmics, and even some Cutting Crew, A-ha and Spandau Ballet. The band made its return to Radford by popular demand after a big performance during last year’s concert series, which is organized by the Radford Visitors and Welcome Center. Everybody got Footloose, dancing for hours.
