CHRISTIANSBURG – Buildings do more than just provide shelter. The materials, building forms, and fashionable details can tell us much about the people who built and used them.
The “Building Montgomery” history exhibit will explore the changes in architectural styles and techniques over time and how these buildings illustrate the story of the people who built them.
The Montgomery Museum of Art + History is calling artists to participate in the accompanying art theme show “Art + History: Building Montgomery” so let your imagination roam! This is your chance to exhibit at the museum.
Subjects may include, but are not limited to, historical buildings in Montgomery County, historical tools and people at work in construction. This exhibit will run from July 5 to Aug. 28, 2025.
Registration is $15 for Museum members, $20 for non-members. No images are required to register. Several days before the opening you will be asked to register your title and price (if any). Up to three pieces may be submitted.
