Buchanan Town Council recognized the Buchanan Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) for its work in the community during last week’s January council meeting. Council member Mike Burton (left) and Town Events and Revitalization Manager Harry Gleason (right) presented a Buchanan Appreciation Award to BAMA Moderator Marina Gopadze recognizing the BAMA emergency assistance fund and other programs the association is involved in. Gopadze noted that most of the Buchanan area churches of all denominations are part of BAMA that also receives contributions from other organizations, businesses and individuals.
